Full Moon Riders

Join us in our third year of Full Moon Riders(FMRs)! Bring your bicycle for casual evening rides along the Downtown Stockton historic waterfront. Riders meet May to October on a full moon night in front of the downtown cinema, following a different route each month.

After the ride, we meet at one of the participating downtown restaurants where FMRs can take advantage of Full Moon specials.

Ride schedule, 6 pm – 8 pm: Thu, Oct 5 – Hunter’s Moon

The rides are casual, unsupported and ‘ride at your own risk’ events.

- Bring lights, tools to change a flat, water, a cell phone.

- After the ride, bicyclists enjoy Full Moon Riders’ specials at the participating restaurants.

- Free and secure parking for your bike provided.

- Children under 18 must wear a bicycle helmet and be accompanied by an adult.

Third Annual White Cane Safety - Blind Americans Equality Day

Community Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired (CCBVI) will host the third annual White Cane Safety - Blind Americans Equality Day on Tuesday, October 17, at noon. Join us at Caldwell Park (southwest corner of Pacific and West Alpine Avenues).

Stroll along the historic Miracle Mile, then dine in or take out from Whirlow’s Tossed and Grilled, 1926 Pacific Avenue. Mention you’re supporting Community Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired, and Whirlow’s will donate 20% of sales to Community Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired.
