Tap Dancing

Beginning Adult Tap

No formal training needed. Expect to be tap dancing in the first lesson.

Course includes both traditional and Rad Tap techniques. First lesson is a free trial.

 

Intermediate Adult Tap

  • Cost: $38, $15 drop-in fee

  • Day of Week: Wednesdays

Explore advanced lessons in traditional and Rad Tap techniques.

Performing at community events is optional.

Tap Dancing for Seniors

Low Impact Senior Tap

  • Cost: $35 per month non-members/$25 per month senior membership holders

No formal training needed. Expect to be tap dancing in the first lesson. This course is low impact and geared for seniors looking for dance movement. The first lesson is a free trial.

Folkloric Dancing

Folkloric Dance Rhythms

Learn the beautiful dances of Mexico. Ballet Folkloric dance consists of a basic set of steps known as zapateados, which involves percussive heel stomping. Students will learn the different folkloric dance rhythms from north, south, east and west Mexico. Through this series, students will be able to move into three folkloric dance levels; beginning, intermediate and advanced.  

Ballroom Boot Camp

Smooth, Latin, and Club Dances

  • Ages: 10+
  • Cost: $40 per month/4 classes
  • Time of Class: 7:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
  • Day of Week: Wednesdays beginning January 2017

Smooth dances (Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot); Latin dances (Salsa, Cha Cha, Rumba); Club dances (East Coast, swing, night club two step, country two step) all covered. Beginners to advanced can enroll; no partner is required. Receive semi-private instruction at a group price.

Soul Line Dancing

Soul Line Dancing for Fun

Have fun learning a variety of soul line dance steps while listening to upbeat, soul music. Fun way to get your move on and perfect for all levels of dance knowledge and all ages.

Zumba Gold Fitness

Stay Active with Zumba

  • Ages: 10+
  • Cost: $24 per session, each session is 4 weeks

Enjoy upbeat music, community, and fitness movement in the fun style of active aerobic dance.

Perfect for all ages and levels of dance.

 

Kindergym

Child with Parent Class

  • Ages: 19 - 36 months

  • 19 - 26 month class: 9:45 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.

Parent and child use play movement and gymnastic skills to develop coordination and to encourage social skills and a positive outlook.

Preschool Gym

Young Children Learn Tumbling and Balance Skills

  • Ages: 3 - 5 
  • Cost: $32 for 3 classes
  • Age 3 class: 9:30 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. ,Wednesdays
  • Age 4 - 5 class: 10:15 a.m. - 10:45 a.m., Wednesdays
  • Age 4 - 5 class: 10:45 a.m. - 11:45 a.m., Tuesdays

Fun class for young children. Activities include stretching, beginning tumbling, balance beam, beginning vaulting, and games. Kids make new friends, build core strength, and increase self-confidence.

Gymnastics Level 1

Time to Leanr Gymnastics

  • Ages: 5 - 7 
  • Cost: $42 for 4 classes; $32 for 3 classes
  • Age 5 - 7 class - Beginning: 3:15 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. , Thursdays
  • Age 5 - 7 class - Beginning: 5:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m., Fridays
  • Age 5 - 7 class - Advanced: 4:00 p.m. - 4:45 p.m., Thursdays
  • Day of Week: Thursdays

Students learn beginning tumbling skills, balance beam games, stretching and beginning vault.  Tumbling skills focus on front, backward rolls, and cartwheels. A social and fun class!
