National Night Out Community Events 

National Night Out Community Event, Aug. 6 2019

Community Services will host community gatherings at 7 locations for National Night Out on Tuesday, August 6, 2019. 

 

Stockton Police, Fire, and City representatives will also be making the rounds that evening to meet community members at these events and neighborhood events throughout Stockton.

 

National Night Out is a year-long community outreach to heighten crime prevention awareness and strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships. Last year 95 neighborhood communities participated. 

  

Movies At The Point

Movies at the Point is a free film series featuring a different movie the second Friday of every month, beginning in June and ending with the Spooktacular event in October.


Gates to Weber Point Events Center open at 6:30 p.m.; all movies begin at dusk. Admission is free and seating is first-come, first-served.

 

Movie-goers are encouraged to bring blankets, lawn chairs, and picnic-style dinners. Concessions also available to purchase snacks.

 

***To ensure a family-friendly and safe environment:

Glass containers and bottles, alcohol, and smoking are not permitted in the park.***

  • Friday, August 9: “How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World”
  • Friday, September 13: “Captain Marvel”
  • Friday, October 11: “Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween”
    • Spooktacular Event - Gates open at 5:30 p.m.

 

Summer Movies Water Play Activity

Water Play Events 2019

For July, August and September Movies At The Point, look for inflatable water slides at Weber Point from 3 - 6:30 p.m.

You will need to sign a waiver to use the slide. Use the link below to print the release form and bring it with you, or pick up a form at the water play venue inside Weber Point.
