The Stockton Police Department is dedicated to making a difference in our community. The Department is comprised of over 300 sworn Officers and over 150 civilian personnel. Working as a Police Officer in Stockton is very rewarding and offers a variety of opportunities.

As an Officer with the Stockton Police Department, you will patrol assigned areas to ensure the security of life and property. You will enforce state, local, and federal laws and ordinances; restore order; protect life; and maintain peace in our community. Stockton Police Officers are certified through the California Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST).

Officer Azarvand joined the Stockton Police Department in 1996. His various assignments include Patrol, Gang Street Enforcement Team, VICE and Field Training Officer. He is a certified Range Master and a member of the Crisis Negotiation Team. He is currently assigned as a Recruiter, Background Investigator and Training Coordinator in the Personnel & Training Division.
Officer Siv began his career in law enforcement at the California Department of Corrections where he served as a correctional officer at High Desert Prison in Susanville. Officer Siv came to Stockton PD and has served in the Patrol Division and the Gang Street Enforcement Team. He is a member of the Crisis Negotiation Team and is currently assigned to the Personnel & Training Division.
Officer Zaragoza joined the Stockton Police Department in 1992. Her various assignments included Patrol, Bicycle Patrol and Field Training Officer. She is a certified Range Master and a member of the Critical Incident Investigation Team. She is the coordinator of the Stockton Crime Stoppers and oversees the Graffiti Hotline. She is currently assigned as a Recruiter and Background Investigator in the Personnel & Training section.
