When you travel on a city street, stroll on the sidewalk, or leave your garden waste at the curb for collection, you benefit from services provided by the City of Stockton's Public Works Department.

We are responsible for:

• street maintenance, street lights, and city vehicles
• garbage and recycling pick-up
• traffic planning and management
• the City's large capital improvement construction projects 

We are 150 full- and part-time employees committed to bringing these services to you, day and night.
