Accepting Applications for Civil Service/Equal Employment Commission Department: Boards and Commissions

The City of Stockton is accepting online applications for the Civil Service/Equal Employment Commission, using the application on the City’s website at

Deadline for applications extended to Friday, July 14, 2017.

The Civil Service/Equal Employment Commission is a five (5) member Commission that acts in an advisory capacity to the City Manager on matters concerning personnel administration.

The City is seeking to fill one (1) incomplete term to begin immediately upon appointment and end June 30, 2018. The term of service is for three (3) years. Members meet once a month on the third Thursday. There is remuneration. Applicants must be a resident of the City of Stockton and registered to vote. Applicants shall not hold any other public office, place, or position of employment with the City of Stockton.
