Rapid Rehousing

Rapid Rehousing is an evidence-based strategy that provides short-term rental assistance and case management services to help people obtain housing quickly, increase self-sufficiency, and stay housed. By connecting people with a home, they are in a better position to address other challenges that may have led to their homelessness, such as obtaining employment or addressing substance abuse issues. Research demonstrates that individuals who receive Rapid Rehousing assistance are homeless for a shorter period of time than those assisted with shelter or transitional housing.
