Drone Soccer
An aviation class for youth that provides a fantastic opportunity to introduce students to aviation, instill a passion for flying, have fun learning with friends, and impart essential life skills.

Young Bakers Academy
Learn about measuring, the science behind mixing ingredients, budgeting, and packaging your finished product. Participants will bake cookies, cakes, brownies, and have a baking challenge on our final day. Each baker will bring home their delicious treats after each class.

You & Me Cookie Monster Workshop
You and your child will make and bake a dozen cookies each week. Wear your apron and play clothes as this is a hands-on class. Your child will break eggs, learn to pour, knead, and make their own dough from scratch.

Memberships can be purchased at any City Community Center. Senior programming takes place at Arnold Rue Community Center, Oak Park Senior Center, Stribley Community Center, and Van Buskirk Community Center.

Become a part of our vibrant active aging community by purchasing a yearly (July 1 to June 30) Senior Membership. The membership fee covers almost all senior activities that take place during each center's senior program. Program activities vary by location. Some activities, such as Luncheon and Bingo, Tea Dance, and instructional classes (Tai Chi, Partner Social Dance, Senior Tap Dance) are available at an additional fee.

Each center has the following types of programming:

Fitness room with exercise equipment; card and board games (pinochle, bridge, mahjong, etc.); exercise activities (aerobics, dance, etc.); arts and craft activities (painting, knitting, crochet, etc.); special monthly events.

Free Haircuts for Seniors (Must be a member)
Oak Park Center First and Third Mondays of the month Appointment required.

Soul Moves Dance Fit

Soul Moves Dance Fit is a dynamic workout for men and women. It is a sweet blend of dance and muscle strengthening for functional, full body conditioning that's fun and effective.
