Biography

Councilmember Michael Blower is serving his first elected term on the Stockton City Council, representing District 3 beginning January 2023.  Michael Blower is not new to the Stockton Council. He was appointed to serve on the Stockton City Council for District 4 from February 2016 to December 2016, when Council Member Moses Zapien was appointed to the San Joaquin County Board of Supervisors.

A lifelong Stocktonian, Michael Blower has deep roots in our community. Michael is a past president of the Rotary Club of Stockton and a board member of the California Association of REALTORS and the Nance Strong Foundation. He recently completed a term on the Stockton Police Chaplaincy board.  He regularly volunteers at the Stockton Emergency Food Bank.

His priority as a council member is to assist the homeless, keep our neighborhood safe, create better-paying jobs, and be fiscally accountable.

In his spare time, Michael enjoys spending time with his wife, Tiffany, and their two daughters, Caroline and Catherine.
