Prior to filling out a planning application, potential applicants must determine if a location meets the requirements outlined in the Stockton Municipal Code.

Location Requirements

Potential Commercial Cannabis Businesses must abide by these location requirements as outlined in the Municipal Code.

  • Must be 300 feet from Residential Zone
  • Must be 600 feet from K-12 Schools, Parks, Religious Facilities, Child Care Centers, Family Day Care Home, or Drug-Abuse or Alcohol Treatment Facilities.

In addition to identifying locations where cannabis businesses are allowed, owners must obtain a Business License, Operators Permit, Owner and Employee Permits and a Business License Certificate prior to beginning operations.
